Help Wanted/Job Announcement

Otero County has one (1) opening for Crusher Operator. Performs semi-skilled manual labor, duties and responsibilities at the County crusher site, i.e., operate feed hopper, maintain equipment, etc.  Drives trucks and operates a variety of heavy and light equipment, and hand tools. Graduation from a high school or GED, and 1 year experience. Post-offer employment physical and drug screen required. 

Excellent benefit package, salary range $2749 to $3276/month. Valid State Driver’s License. A Commercial Driver’s License, minimum Class A CDL certification is preferred, but not required. 

Applications can be picked up at Workforce Center in La Junta. Position is open until it is filled. Otero County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
