1.      Pfizer third (booster) doses for children aged 5 through 11 years:  On May 17, 2022, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the use of a single booster dose for children aged 5 through 11 years. On May 19, 2022, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and CDC approved a third (booster) dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 through 11 years. COVID-19 vaccine providers can now administer third doses of Pfizer vaccine to children aged 5 through 11 years provided enough time has passed since their primary vaccine series completion.
