Rocky Ford Fire Department Reports on Hwy 50 + 71 Accident 6/14/22

Description: RFFD: This is a very dangerous intersection and we encourage all to slow down on HWY 50 passing this intersection and for those on HWY 71 and CR 18 please STOP and look both ways multiple times to ensure traffic is clear to proceed. Please drive safely.

The following was released by the Rocky Ford Fire Department:

Rocky Ford Fire Department Reports on Hwy 50 + 71 Accident

At approximately 3:15pm we were paged out to a multi-vehicle accident with injuries on Hwy 50 and Hwy 71 intersection. 

Upon arrival we found 1pickup truck with tipped camper and an SUV on its side.  2 female parties were assisted out of the SUV.  Patients involved were transported to AVRMC non-critical.  CSP is investigating the cause of the accident.
