Multiple Agencies Respond to Single Vehicle Crash in La Junta

No Injuries In Single Vehicle Crash

Just after 10 pm Saturday evening a single vehicle crash occurred on frontage road in La Junta. Seconews was on scene to find out how the pickup had come to rest in such a precarious position. Colorado State Patrol informed seconews that there were no injuries, and that there would not likely be an official accident report released to media.

Single Vehicle Accident seconews.org Law enforcement personnel on scene included City of La Junta Police, The Otero County Sheriff's Office, and the Colorado State Patrol.

The accident occurred at the intersection of County Road 27, US Hwy 50 and Fontage Road.

A Black 90's Ford Ranger opperated by an unidentified individual misjudged which way the road went and wedged their pickup in between the ditch banks, it was undetermined which road the truck had turned from, or if it had traveled straight on frontage road and missed turning altogether. 

The Colorado State Patrol Officer informed seconews that a incident report would not likely be made available to the media because, "it was a single vehicle crash with no injuries."
