Swink Lions Baseball Splits Season Open Against Centauri
Swink hosted their season opener against Centauri after a last minute change of venue due to weather.
It was a double header. During the 1st game, it was close 0-0 through the 5th inning.
That's where Centauri caught a round of momentum. They scored 8 runs. 0-8 going into the 6th.
Swink didn't give up. Although they were behind they played as a team and stayed together.
They fell short of a comeback with the final score of the 1st game being 4-10.
After a meeting with the coaches and some team chanting.
The 2nd game was a different story with a different ending.
Swink came back with a victory of 11-4 over Centauri to split the win on their 2023 season opening doubleheader hosting Centauri.
