...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT TODAY THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and southeast Colorado, including the following areas, Eastern Fremont, Pueblo, El Paso, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero, Prowers, Bent, and Baca Counties.

* WHEN...From Noon MDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of thunderstorms will develop over the mountains and spread eastward across the southeast plains this afternoon. Intense rainfall rates may cause flash flooding, especially for urnban areas and locations with saturated soil conditions from yesterday`s heavy rainfall. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
