It took careful maneuvering between parked cars and moving traffic. The City of La Junta put the bucket truck to good use.

Jonathan from the Colorado Bank and Trust at 3rd and Colorado Avenue had a favor to ask the city work crew. He asked if they could help untangle the flag at the bank, as the wind had tangled it at the top of the flag pole.

While the bucket truck was out they took a couple minutes to assist Colorado Bank and Trust.

The flag had been twisted and tangled on the top of the flag pole by the wind.

It was quick work to untangle the flag and it was nice to see the city crew performing good deeds while they worked.

They worked into the afternoon to get the garland and lights hung on all the light posts downtown.
