Otero Emergency Management Pre-Flood Planning is Watching The River

As the water levels in the Arkansas River rise, the Otero County Commissioners met with the Emergency Manager, Otero Sheriff's Department, Otero Road & Bridge Department and the La Junta Fire Department to pre plan for possible flooding.

This afternoon Otero County will provide a self-serve sandbag station at 3rd and Adams in La Junta.
