La Junta Senior Golf League - Results for Aug 22, 2023
The La Junta Senior Golf League met on August 22 to play nine holes of golf. We welcomed one new player, Ed Garlington. We had 40 players, dividing into 8 teams of five. We played two different games. The first game was the typical scramble format. The second game was a chipping contest: a target was drawn on the chipping green and points were earned according to what part of the target the balls landed.
Successfully making he challenge putt on hole 7 were Gary Armitage, Pat Engebrecht, Frank McKenzie, and Sharon Tashiro.

Registration will be 8:15 – 8:30 a.m. Teams are picked at 8:45 and no players can be added after that. Call 719-469-0691 if you are going to be late for registration. Play will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m.
