CSP Reports Hwy 50 Closure Due to Car VS Truck Crash

The Colorado State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Hwy 50 and Otero County Rd. 5 1/4 at 8 pm on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

The Colorado State Patrol Public Information Officer reported that there were minor injuries in a crash involving a passenger Car and a truck pulling a horse trailer.

Both Eastbound and Westbound lanes of US Hwy 50 were closed as of 8:30 pm, according to the CSP PIO.

The incident is currently under investigation.
