State Patrol is Asking for Assistance in Pueblo County Serious Injury Crash

(COLO) November 15, 2023, at approximately 6:10 pm, in Pueblo County Colorado, Colorado State Patrol Troopers responded to a hit and run crash on Highway 50 near mile post 307.  An SUV struck a pedestrian, causing serious injury to the 15-year-old party and then left the scene.

The initial investigation revealed the pedestrian was traveling north across the eastbound lanes of Highway 50 just east of McCulloch Blvd.  The SUV was traveling eastbound on Highway 50 in the left-hand lane.  The SUV struck the pedestrian’s right leg with the front tire.  The SUV failed to remain on scene.

Investigators need your help identifying the vehicle and driver of this hit and run.  The vehicle is believed to be an SUV and may have possible damage to the front fender.  If you witnessed the crash, or have any information and have not spoken to investigators, please contact Colorado State Patrol Dispatch at (719) 544-2424.  You can reference the case number as 2D231649.
