Due to inclement weather and poor road conditions, Lamar will have a 10:00 am start on Tuesday, Jan. 9. AM Preschool has been cancelled.

Due to major weather risks & travel, Springfield Schools will not be in session on Tuesday, 01/09. We'll be excited to see all staff & students asap. Stay safe!

Campo School District will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 9th to let everyone start digging out. Stay warm and stay safe!

Vilas School District will not have school on Tuesday, January 9th, due to the snow drifts and continued wind prediction. Stay safe and warm! If applicable, students are expected to join college classes from home. The JH BB game is also cancelled.  We will be rescheduling, if possible.

Alta Vista Charter School Two hour delay for Tues., Jan. 9. Doors will open at 9:45am. Start time 10:00am.

Due to inclement weather, classes in Granada will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Staff please arrive at 9:45 a.m. Morning preschool is cancelled. Buses will run.

Due to current weather conditions Walsh Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan 9th.  A decision on tomorrow's HS basketball game will be made Tuesday morning.  Stay safe..

Rocky Ford School District parents and students, school will be in session tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 9) at the regular time. We have temporary heat in place at Jefferson School and are quickly working on a more permanent solution. The music room and gym  have their own heat source. A large mobile unit that produces forced air is providing heat for the first and second floor classrooms along with several radiator heaters. The temporary heat will result in temperatures that are more variable than normal from classroom to classroom so students and staff should dress in layers. We are excited to see all of the students after a long break!

Attention CDS families: Lamar Center will be on a 2-hour delay Tuesday for children and a 1-hour delay for Lamar staff. La Junta, Las Animas, Rocky Ford, Manzanola and Boone centers will resume regular hours. Transportation will run as normal at those centers that provide transportation.

It’s a snow day! Kim School District is closed again today, January 9th due unsafe road conditions and it’s dang cold!
