SECO News attended the 5th Annual Arkansas Valley Community Cancer Support Group Chili Dinner at the Arkansas Valley Fairgrounds on Saturday Night. The people of Southeast Colorado came out to make it a great fundraising event.

While there we noticed new graffiti on the Arkansas Valley Fairgrounds Grand Stands.

Rocky Ford Mayor Duane Gurule Responded Monday Morning on Social Media:

"I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Rick Long and our Rocky Ford Public Works Department team for quickly addressing the graffiti at the Arkansas Valley Fairgrounds."

"We’re proud of our city and we’re going to do what it takes to create and demonstrate pride in our community!"

"To anyone who feels differently, or feels like they do not have a sense of ownership in this community please reach out to me. We can find the perfect way to get you involved and change that mindset."
