Update: Swink School is CANCELING SCHOOL Today March 25th. Due to weather conditions. Swink School will start with a two-hour delay on Monday, March 25. No Breakfast. Please stay tuned for an announcement about the remainder of the day.
Fowler Schools are OPEN and ON TIME today. Contact the office if you will be absent or late. Dress warmly, allow extra time, and travel safely!
Update: 3/25/24 - La Junta School District is closed today. East Otero School District is on a 2 Hour Delay due to weather for 3/25/24.
La Junta Tiger JV & V Baseball Games for today have been postponed.
Due to the continued inclement weather, the La Junta CDS center is closed today, Monday, March 25. All other centers are open. Central Office staff will report at their delayed time. Otero College Child Development Services campuses are on a 2-hour delay today, March 25. Staff should report at 9:30 and school will begin at 10. Buses will run in time to get children to school. Otero CDS Buses will have a delayed start today, March 25, but will ensure children get to school by 10 am.
RFSD will be on a normal schedule today. Welcome back from Spring Break!
Las Animas School District is on Normal Schedule today, Monday, March 25th.
Update: Due to continued weather and adverse road conditions McClave school is shifting from a delay to a closure. There is NO school today, Monday, March 25th. McClave School is on a 2 hour delay Monday, March 25th due to wind and blowing snow. Classes begin at 10:00 a.m.
Due to blizzard and poor road conditions Kim School District will not be in session today, Monday March 25, 2024. Stay warm & safe! High School CPR class will be rescheduled!
Vilas School is on a 2 hour delay on March 25th due to weather. School will begin at 10am. No breakfast will be served. Busses will run.
Campo School District will be on a 2 hour delay, Monday, March 25th.
Pritchett School will be on a 2 hour delay, Monday, March 25th.
VA ECHCS clinics will have a 2 hour delayed opening today, Monday, March 25, 2024, due to severe weather and road conditions this morning. Scheduling staff are contacting Veterans with appointments before 10 a.m. to convert to telehealth or reschedule as needed.
SAGE will not serve meals in Otero, Bent, and Crowley counties today, due to road conditions and blowing snow! We apologize for any inconvenience.
The Otero County Courthouse and County employees will also have a delay due to weather. The Courthouse will open at 9:45AM and county offices will open at 10AM.
The Arkansas Valley Pregnancy Center will be closed today, March 25th, due to inclement weather. If you would like to make an appointment, please call 719-384-5561. Have a safe and warm day!
Due to the continuing snow and icy conditions the Otero College campus will close today Monday March 25. All classes and activities are canceled for the day. Essential staff will remain on campus until noon. Classes and normal operations will resume on Tuesday, March 26 unless otherwise indicated.
SFTBOCES and SEAL Academy will be closed today due to weather.
Cheraw School District is closed today, March 25th due to inclement weather.
