From La Junta Fire Department:
"At 1613 today we responded to a reported structure fire in the area of Rd 31 and Hwy 194. While enroute heavy smoke could be seen. A second alarm was struck for more personnel and mutual aid from Cheraw Fire Dept. Chief Davidson arrived and asked for mutual aid from Rocky Ford Fire and Las Animas Fire Departments for water tenders."
