State Fire Department Command Truck VS Motorcycle Rider

"On 03/20/2024 at approximately 1554 hours, Officers arrived at Highway 50 westbound lanes and Grant Ave for the report of a State Fire Department Command Truck colliding with a motorcycle."

"The State Fire Command Truck was responding to a call using its lights and sirens when the accident occurred."

"The number 2 lane was blocked for the investigation and the rider of the Motorcycle was transported to AVRMC for complaint of injuries."

"Further investigations with dashcam footage provided by two vehicles showed the State Fire Command Truck failing to drive with due regard colliding with the motorcycle, and the driver was issued a citation."

All parties considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
