The La Junta Senior Golf League met on September 10 for nine holes of scramble golf. The course was transformed into a par-3 course by changing the location of the tee boxes for every hole.  There were 43 golfers present, and we broke up into seven teams of 5 players and two teams of 4 players. There was a challenge chip on hole #7 that no one was able to make. There was also a challenge putt on hole #3; congratulations to Mark Johnston as he was the only golfer to make that putt.

Two important announcements to pass along. There is no Senior Golf League in two weeks, September 24.  The second announcement is a date change for the La Junta Hall of Fame tournament to Saturday, October 5.  There is space left for senior players; sign up and pay at the starter shack at the golf course. If you have already signed up and can’t play on the new date, see the starter shack personnel.
