Obituary
Enos Neil Cook age 77 of a Mosca Colorado passed into the hands of his Lord March 2nd 2021 at the Rio Grand Inn in La Jara Colorado. He was born September 7th 1943 in Graham County Kansas. Enos was the oldest son of W.D and Vesta Cook. He was active in 4H and played football in high school. He graduated from Wakeeney high school in Wakeeney Kansas in 1962. Enos has made his living as a farmer, truck driver and a certified diesel mechanic. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, riding horses, hiking, woodworking, attending church. He loved God and his family. He didn't like Fishing.
Enos is survived by his wife Naomi Cook of Mosca, his children Rodney (Kalin) Cook of Center, Delena (Donnie) Freeman of Chatsworth, Georgia and Dennis; (Angela) Cook of Glenmore, Georgia, his siblings; Russell (Genell) Cook of Nixa, Missouri, Arlen (Cindy) Cook of Nyssa, Oregon, Willard (Sandy) Cook of Glenwood Iowa, Wesley (Janice) Cook of Plainville, Iowa, Perry (Angie) Cook of Glenwood Iowa, Martha Nell (Robert) Hamman of Oskaloosa Iowa and Jennie (James) Young of Clare, Michigan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Enos is survived by his wife Naomi Cook of Mosca, his children Rodney (Kalin) Cook of Center, Delena (Donnie) Freeman of Chatsworth, Georgia and Dennis; (Angela) Cook of Glenmore, Georgia, his siblings; Russell (Genell) Cook of Nixa, Missouri, Arlen (Cindy) Cook of Nyssa, Oregon, Willard (Sandy) Cook of Glenwood Iowa, Wesley (Janice) Cook of Plainville, Iowa, Perry (Angie) Cook of Glenwood Iowa, Martha Nell (Robert) Hamman of Oskaloosa Iowa and Jennie (James) Young of Clare, Michigan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Carol Ilene Clarkson Cook and a brother Clinton Cook.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Enos will be buried at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Ellis Kansas. A second service will be held Keithley Funeral Chapel located at 400 East 17th Street in Ellis, Kansas. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the service following at 11:00 am on Friday March 12, 2021.
