2021 AVRMC Statistical Information
During the past year, the staff at AVRMC:
o Took care of 746 Inpatients, 147 of whom were COVID.
o Took care of 10,569 ER Patients, 276 of whom were COVID
o Took care of 433 Observation Patients
o Delivered 160 babies
o Performed 1,132 surgeries
o Administered 360 units of Monoclonal Antibodies
o Performed 86,458 Lab tests
o Used 1,519 units of blood
o Performed 11,237 X-rays
o Performed 181 Nuclear Medicine procedures
o Performed 1,228 mammograms
o Did 4,420 CT scans
o Did 929 MRI’s
o Dispensed 90,267 medications
o Saw 3,856 patients in the Specialty Clinic
o Did 209 sleep studies
o Performed 16,800 Respiratory treatments
o Did 348 stress tests
o Did 2,645 EKGs
o Cleaned and maintained 255,000 sq. ft. of building every day
o Performed 27,921 Rehab treatments
o Processed 236,577 pounds of linen
o Served 111,642 meals
Those items were accomplished by the 290 employees who worked 618,917 hours to accomplish these tasks.
