Clean Valley Recycling Needs Your Help!
A dependable baler is the heart of any recycling center. It compacts the cardboard, paper, plastics, and aluminum into tight bales in preparation for shipping. Here at Clean Valley Recycling, we need to replace our old worn-out baler at a cost of $116,000. We have already raised $66,000 towards the purchase, but we need your help to raise the rest.
Clean Valley Recycling receives and collects recyclable materials from many communities in Southeastern Colorado, including Lamar, Las Animas, La Junta, Cheraw, Swink, Rocky Ford, Ordway, Fowler, Trinidad, Walsenburg, and others! We are a full-service recycler accepting plastics, cardboard, electronics, paint, glass, paper, metals, as well as reclaimed building materials.
The amount of waste that Clean Valley has diverted from the landfill has steadily increased over the years--from 220 tons in 2013 to 710 tons in 2021! This success has been possible because of the dedication and hard work of paid and volunteer staff and with the help of donations and grant funds to purchase needed equipment. Whether you enjoy the convenience of affordable curbside pickup or use our drop-off services, we appreciate your participation.
Today, we are asking for donations to help us pay for a new baler. To contribute, go to our website at www.cleanvalleyrecycling.org and click the “GIVE” tab at the top of the page.
You may also donate by check to Clean Valley Recycling, PO Box 1053, La Junta, CO.
We welcome all contributions from businesses as well as individuals.
Clean Valley Recycling is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
