Obituary 

Theodore Ernest Lewis died at his home in Swink on Monday, April 12, 2004 with his family.

A private graveside service was held Friday, April 16, 2004 with Eulogy by his Grandson Eric Copeland.

Mr. Lewis was born Aug. 26, 1922 at Elkhart, Kan., the son of Ernest and Ester Lewis. He served his country in the United States Navy. He worked 42 years as a dispatcher for the Santa Fe Railroad.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Rebecca Lewis; son, Ernest Lewis, Swink; daughters, Linda (Larry) Schrock, Topeka, Kan.; Ruth (Jim) Copeland, Plainview, Tex.; Sue Ritter, Canon City; Cindy (Dave) Hart, Swink; Janet (Rich) Johannes, La Junta; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Persons wishing to do so may make memorial donations in the name of Mr. Lewis to the Arkansas Valley Hospice, P.O. Box 1067, La Junta.
