Christmas at the Museum

By Kathleen Tomlin

The Museum is hosting their annual, “Christmas at the Museum” event on Saturday, December 11th from 11:00 am until 2pm.

Come over and enjoy a bowl of delicious Wendy’s chili with all the trimmings, homemade desserts, hot chocolate, cider, and coffee.  The cost is a $5.00 donation for adults, $3.00 for kids, and kids six and under are free.

Door prizes will be available with one chance per dinner ticket.  Santa Claus will visit and be available for photos.  Our Bent County Art Guild partners are having a craft corner with all sorts of crafts (everything provided), and a booth to sell homemade items.  Santa’s elves will be helping.

The Museum will have a fabulous silent auction with many items – highest bid wins the item, need not to be present to win.  For entertainment during lunch there will be country western Christmas music with piano, bass, and guitar player – should be fantastic!

Come on over and get your Christmas spirit working in your heart!
