10/29/2022

Deputies responded to the 11000 block of County Road GG.5 for a report of drugs. Deputies arrived, secured the suspected drugs, and arrested one party on new charges.

Deputies responded to the 11000 block of County Road GG .5 for an ambulance call.

Deputies responded to the 500 block of 5th Street for a medical call.  Deputies notified the Coroner and District Attorney’s office.

Deputies responded to the Sheriff's Office parking lot for a medical call.

Deputies responded to the 800 block of 6th Street for the report of a burglary. Deputies are awaiting a statement from the property owner.

Deputies responded to the 300 block of 6th Street for a vehicle unlock. Deputies were successful.

Deputies responded to the 400 block of Vigil Street for an ambulance call.

Deputies responded to Highway 194 at County Road 7 for the report of cows on the roadway. Deputies assisted with getting cows back inside the fence.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of 4th Street for possible child abuse. Deputies determined the claim to be unfounded.

Deputies responded to the 30000 block of County Road 10 for an ambulance assist. Deputies assisted ambulance personnel load the patient.

10/30/2022

Deputies responded to the 31000 block of County Road 15 in Fort Lyon for a report of suspicious activity. Deputies determined that everything was okay.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of East 1st Street for a burglar alarm. Deputies determined that everything was okay.

Deputies responded to the 1000 block of St Vrain Avenue for the report of an animal attack. Deputies transported one dog to the pound.

Deputies responded to the 34000 block of Highway 50 in McClave for an ambulance assist. Deputies assisted EMS with the patient.

Deputies responded to the intersection of 6th Street and Moore Avenue for the report of theft. After further investigation, deputies determined that everything was okay.

Deputies responded to the 30000 block of County Road 15 for an ambulance assist. Deputies assisted EMS.

Deputies responded to Highway 194 and CR 7 on a report of cattle in the roadway. Deputies were unable to locate any cattle on the roadway. 

Deputies responded to the 700 block of Poplar Ave to provide information about civil stand-by procedures. 

Deputies responded to the 200 block of St. Vrain on a report of an open fire. Deputies advised the party of safety concerns and asked that the party to call in for a controlled burn. 

Deputies responded to the 600 block of Maple Ave to provide information to a party regarding his vehicle. 

Deputies responded to the 600 block of Ash Ave. to assist a motorist. The motorist was able to get back on the road. 

Deputies responded to the 31000 block of CR 10.5 on a report of a juvenile problem. Deputies were able to help figure out a solution. 

Deputies responded to the 900 block of Ash Ave on a report of a 911 misdial. Deputies found everything to be okay. 

Deputies responded to the 1100 block of Independence Blvd. on a report of harassment. Deputies were unable to locate the parties involved. 

Deputies responded to the 900 block of 6th St to assist the ambulance. The patient was loaded and transported to AVRMC.

10/31/2022

Deputies responded to Highway 101 and milepost 5 on a report of cattle on the roadway. Deputies were unable to locate the cattle. 

Deputies responded to the 500 block of Garfield Avenue for a civil standby. Deputies ensured that everything was civil.

Deputies responded to the 700 block of Cottonwood Avenue for the report of harassment. Deputies determined that everything was okay.

Deputies responded to the 600 block of Ash Ave on a report of a civil dispute. Deputies informed the party that this issue needs to be solved in civil court. 

Deputies responded to the 600 block of St. Vrain Ave on a report of a suspicious person. Deputies investigated and found everything to be okay. 

Deputies responded to the 900 block of 4th St for found property. Deputies took the property into custody for holding. 

Deputies responded to Highway 101 and milepost 4 on a report of donkeys in the roadway. Deputies got them back in the pasture and closed the gate. 

11/1/2022

Deputies responded to the 700 block of Locust Ave on a report of aggressive dogs. Deputies found the owner and the dogs returned home. 

Deputies responded to the intersection of 1st Street and Moore Avenue for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies responded to Highway 50 and Milepost 389 for an agency assist. Deputies assisted the agency.

Deputies responded to the 700 block of Locust Ave on a report of animals running at large. Deputies contacted the owners, and they got their dogs put away. 

Deputies responded to CR DD.5 and CR 12.25 on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle. 

Deputies responded to the 600 block of Bent Ave on a report of a vehicle fire. Deputies found that the battery exploded in the vehicle. Deputies issued a summons. 

Deputies responded to the 500 block of Ambassador Thompson Blvd on a report of a burglar alarm. Deputies found this to be a false alarm.

11/2/2022

Deputies responded to the 400 block of Ambassador Thompson Blvd on a report of a suspicious activity. Deputies found everything to be okay. 

Deputies responded to the 500 block of Carson Ave for a burglary alarm. Deputies found this alarm to be false. 

Deputies responded to Highway 50 and Mile Marker 415 for the report of a traffic accident. Deputies assisted the Colorado State Patrol with the investigation. 

Deputies responded to the 600 block of Vine Ave, for a report of a window being shot by a BB gun.  Deputies spoke with residents and are investigating.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of Bent Ave for a civil issue. Deputies arrived and spoke with the party and explained that it was a civil issue.

11/3/2022

Deputies responded to the 300 block of Grove Ave for a report of a burglary alarm. Deputies responded and dispatch was unable to get a hold of a key holder, the deputies did not observe any signs of a break in and cleared the scene.

Deputies responded to the 200 block of North Bent Avenue in Las Animas for a suspicious person. Deputies contacted the person. The party was just walking to work. 

Deputies responded to the 300 block of Elm Avenue in Las Animas for the report of a dog at large. Deputies were able to locate the dog and take it to the pound.

Deputies responded to the 700 block of Bent Avenue for the report of a bomb threat. Deputies determined the call was unfounded.

Deputies responded to the 1200 block of 9th St. for a report of a stolen vehicle.  Deputies responded and recovered the stolen vehicle. Three parties were arrested and booked into the Bent County Jail.

11/4/2022

Deputies responded to the 400 block of Lincoln Ave for a report of suspicious activity. Deputies spoke with the reporting party and identified who the suspicious person was.

Deputies responded to the 1200 block of 9th in Las Animas for a civil problem. Deputies advised the parties they needed to follow the court's order.

Deputies responded to the 300 block of Elm Avenue for a report of two dogs at large. Deputies were unable to locate the dogs. 

Deputies responded to the 900 of 5th street in Las Animas for a report of damaged property. Deputies investigated the damaged property and gave the property owner a statement to fill out.

Deputies responded to Highway 50 for a report of a dangerous driver. Deputies contacted the driver at mile marker 397. The driver was tired from working.

Deputies responded to the area of Hwy 50 and MM 398 for a traffic complaint. Deputies spoke with the driver and fixed the issue.

Deputies responded to the 500 block of Oakland Ave for a report of threats. Deputies spoke with the parties involved and determined no threats were made, and it was a civil issue.

Deputies responded to the 1200 block of 9th St. for an agency assist. Deputies spoke with Crowley County Sheriff's Office and provided them the information.
