At 11:12 AM La Junta Police Officers responded to the 300 Block of Maple Ave on a report of burglary and this incident will be documented. Only one item was removed from the shed and will be placed into the case file. Call Type: • BURGLARY - BURGLARY, FORCED ENTRY RESIDENCE
At 11:26 AM Officers were dispatched to a report of burglary and while on scene and through investigation the individual had confirmed warrants for his arrest. The male individual was placed in custody without incident. Call Type: • MISCELLANEOUS - WARRANT ARREST
At 3:25 PM Officers took a report of a possible identity theft and fraud in the 500 Block of Bradish Ave. The case is under investigation. Call Type: • FRAUD - IDENTITY THEFT
At 4:24 PM Officers took the report of a theft that occurred at Walmart on Conley Road in La Junta. The suspect, had been previously trespassed from Walmart and was issued a citation for burglary and theft. Call Type: • BURGLARY - BURGLARY, UNFORCED ENTRY NONRESIDENCE

At 9:21 PM Officers were transporting a suspect to the Sheriff's Office when the suspect slipped the cuffs and began running on foot. The suspect was caught after a brief foot pursuit and booked into the Otero County Sheriff's Office. Call Type: • ESCAPE - CUSTODY ESCAPE

At 2:42 AM Officers responded to a report of a noise ordinance violation. Officers found the source and determined they were in violation. Citation was issued. Call Type: • OTHER ORDINANCE VIOLATION - ORDINANCE VIOLATION, OTHER
At 4:22 AM at the intersection of E. 4th St. and Raton Ave. Officers attempted to perform a traffic stop. The suspect vehicle came to a stop and the driver fled on foot. The suspect is unknown and the vehicle has been red-tagged. Call Type: • TRAFFIC PROBLEM - TRAFFIC, OTHER
At 4:59 AM in the 200 Block of Colorado Ave. Officers located a male party in the down town area during a consensual contact. He was taken into custody on outstanding warrants. Call Type: • MISCELLANEOUS - WARRANT ARREST
