Carlos Andrew Perez, 34, went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2023, unexpectedly in Denver, CO. He was born on February 24, 1989 to Jean Daniel and Isuaro Perez in La Junta, CO.

Carlos was an avid Denver Broncos Fan! And an AMAZING Sui Chef, he worked at Union Station in Denver, CO.

He is survived by his best friends, Kimberly Torres of Denver & Jose Archuleta of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Jean “Pye” Johnson of South Dakota and his father, Isauro Perez of Rocky Ford, CO; Nino Jerry, Sr & Auntie Monica Daniel; cousins, Jerry, Jr & Megan Daniel, Eric, Sr & Sarah Daniel; great-cousins, Ahriya & Jerrick Daniel & Jordyn & Eric Daniel, Jr all of Colorado Springs, CO; Nina Jane & Uncle Steven Martinez; cousins, Jessica & Max Martinez; great-cousins, Anna, Andrew & Adrian Martinez all of Pueblo, CO; cousins, Bryan Martinez of Texas and Thomas & Cassie Martinez & great-cousin Olivia Martinez of California; grandfather, John Daniel of La Junta; brothers, Oscar Sanchez & Leonardo Perez; sister, Olivia Sanchez; amazing great, great-aunt, Francis & prima Bernice Garcia of California; special cousins, Meno and Maribel Perez of Rocky Ford and numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins also survive.

Carlos is preceded in death by his grandma, Judy Daniel “Nanny” & father, Dennis Johnson, his grandma, Lou Tapia, his great-grandparents, and other family members.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Dell of the First Christian Church of Rocky Ford.
