In July 2023 the AVRMC Wellness Committee set a goal to collect 40 Backpacks for area schools.

Although the Committee fell short of reaching the goal, AVRMC was still able to distribute 24 backpacks and extra supplies to 8 area school districts.

The appreciation from the people at the school districts was remarkable. Each school was very appreciative and showed so much gratitude for the supplies.

AVRMC staff provided the backpacks and extra supplies to the staff at the schools, then let them decide which students needed them.
