Asphalt Repairs on Highway 96 Begin Oct. 16, 2023
Crowley/Kiowa Counties – Asphalt repair work is taking place over the next couple of weeks along a 17-mile segment of CO 96, from east of Sugar City to Arlington.
Beginning on Monday, Oct. 16, the Colorado Department of Transportation will replace the top layer of asphalt at various locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flaggers will alternate one lane of traffic through each work zone. Delays up to 15 minutes should be expected.
Work is scheduled for completion by Friday, Oct. 27, weather permitting.
