Obituary

Annie E. Grajeda of Rocky Ford, Colorado entered rest October 13, 2023, in her home. She was born to John Lucero and Magdalina Arguello on July 4, 1950, in Roy, New Mexico, she was 73 years of age.

She is survived by her children Jolene (Mike) Tidwell of Sterling, Colorado, Vlanca (Paul) Padilla, of Raton, New Mexico, Bobby (Amy) Grajeda, of La Junta, Colorado and Jeffery (Brittany) Grajeda, of Loveland, Colorado. Annie is also survived by her two sisters, Carmen (Dan) Ramirez, Irene (Mike) Brewer and grandchildren Hollie (Alex) Door, Rock (Jessy) Tidwell, Gary Grajeda, Trinidy and Hailey Smith, Jaida, Aria, Brylin, and Kanan Grajeda, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Annie is preceded in death just 15 days before her passing by her husband Arturo Grajeda Palomino, her parents John and Magdalina Lucero, six brothers, one sister, and two grandsons Jonathon Tidwell and Chance Anderson.

Annie was a generous woman; many would describe her heart as a heart of gold. She was loving, caring, and showed compassion to everyone. Annie was a woman of faith and strength. Annie loved to make everyone around her laugh. She loved her dogs, enjoyed watching the Denver Nuggets, being outside gardening and being in company of her family.

Annie will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.

Services Held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, Colorado.

Johnson-Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
