Obituary

Terri Dee Spangler-Darnell, 62, of Rocky Ford, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2023, at her home. She was born July 24, 1961, in La Junta, Colordo to Terrence & Janice (Lawler) Spangler.

Terri is survived by her children, Michelle (Charles) Romero of La Junta, CO; Michael (Jamie) Darnell of Pueblo, CO; grandchildren, Antoinette Trujillo; Aaliyah Trujillo; Anthony Trujillo; Cydney Romero; Donovan Romero; Alexa Darnell; and Aubry Darnell; great-grandson, Liam Lopez; father, Terry Spangler of La Junta; siblings, Ed (Jolyn) Spangler & Jana Hartless; significant other, Robin Meier of their Rocky Ford home; numerous nieces & nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas “Doug” Darnell, and mother, Janice Spangler.

Memorial service will be held January 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Peacock Memorial Chapel in La Junta, CO, with Pastor Robert Hernandez of Highest Praise Fellowship officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in La Junta.
