Rocky Ford Grower's CO OP is Seeking a General Manager

For its location In Rocky Ford, Colorado.

Within this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the coop including overseeing staff, financial and inventory management together with sales and marketing activities.

Position Duties:

Manage chemical and fertilizer inventories. Coordinate delivery of fertilizer products through the coops various delivery and spreading options Present financials and operating overview at monthly board meetings. Assist with collection of past due accounts. Stay up to date on new rules and regulations relevant to the industry. Submit required reporting to appropriate agencies. Over­ see maintenance and replacement of all cooperative equipment. Stay up to date with product knowledge and regulations on all pesticide and herbicide products offered. Stay in touch with cooperative members regarding current needs. Guide the coop in the direction of increasing its business through additional services offered.

The job is for you if you have:

• High School or GED education

• Experience in an Agricultural related field

• Experience dealing with agricultural chemicals and fertilizer

• Prior Management experience

• Strong personal skills in dealing with the Public

• Must be able to acquire a CDL with a hazmat endorsement
