Obituary

Donald Max McClure, 92, passed away on March 15, 2021 at his La Junta home. He was born on September 4, 1928 in Hugoton, Kansas to Roy D. & Ethel (Manwarren) McClure.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of the La Junta home; sister, Lois Hall of Elkhart, KS; grandchildren, Heather (David) Vowles, Cassie (Alfred) Gonzales, Chase (Ashlee) Frazier, Chance (Nichole) Frazier, Nathan Hurt, Eric Hurt, Robert Sheaks, Arnell Sheaks, Sheridan (Beth) Howe, and Rylea Jo Howe; son-in-law, Butch Frazier. He was preceded in death by his parents, children, Wendy McClure, Clay McClure and Dealey Frazier; brother, Roy McClure.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Mills officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta with Military Honors by the Rocky Ford Rifle Team, American Legion Post #8.
