American Legion Post 8 Rocky Ford was presented with their 100% Membership Awards

American Legion Post 8 of Rocky Ford was presented with their 100% Membership Awards for the 2020-2021 year on Thursday, the 17th of July.

This is quite an accomplishment considering the global pandemic. Unfortunately,  members from Post 8 were unable to to receive their awards last month at the American Legion Department of Colorado Convention held at the Hotel Elegante in Colorado Springs. 

Post 8 meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Post which is located behind the Fire Station. 

American Legion Post 8 is also holding a raffle. Grand prize is $500. Second prize is $200 and Third prize is $100.  Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.

Proceeds benefit the Building Fund and Flags. If you would like to purchase tickets or make a donation please contact any Rocky Ford American Legion member or call 719-469-5187.

The drawing will be September 11, 2021 at Noon at the Post.
