Otero County Sheriff Seeking Info on Manzanola Town Hall Burglary & Arson

Manzanola, CO December 1, 2021 – On November 30, 2021 just before 07:00 AM, Deputies from the Otero County Sheriff’s Office were Dispatched to the Town Hall in Manzanola, located at 301 North Park Street on a report of a burglary alarm. 

Upon arrival, It was determined a burglary and attempted arson had occurred at the location, which includes the Town Hall and Manzanola Police Department.  The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Colorado Division of Fire Protection and Control were called in to assist in the investigation, which remains active at this time.  The Sheriff’s Office asks that if anyone may have information about the incident, to please contact Detective Juan Estrada at (719) 384-5941.
