Mark Stanley Miller, age 56, a native of Rocky Ford Colorado, was born October 9, 1965 and passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley & Marilyn Miller and two nephews, Donald Pettie and Allan Martinez.

Mark graduated from Rocky Ford High School and attended Otero Jr. College. He then went on to get his Bachelors in Science at Colorado State University-Pueblo. After graduation and moving into the workforce, he met his bride-to-be Jamileh online and traveled halfway across the world to Australia where they were married. They lived in Rocky Ford seven years where eventually Mark accepted a position with the State of Colorado in Denver as a health inspector. Mark made another major career move to the FDA as a Milk Specialist, where he finally fulfilled a little dream of living in California for the sun, surf and fresh produce.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Jamileh Miller, and two young children, Tristan Mark, 10, and Grace Julia, 9; his two sisters, Melanie Pettie (Joe) and Cynthia Martinez (Ron); a niece Stephanie Maldonado, and nephews Adam and Kendal Martinez; two aunts and numerous cousins, great-nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mark will be held December 28, 2021 at 10:30 am at the First Christian Church located at 400 S. 9th St. in Rocky Ford. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford.
