RFFD VS 4TH & Maple Abandoned House Fire

Description: Fire Fighters flash lights can be seen in the second story windows as they check the house to make sure no one is inside while every one waits in the cold watching for their safe exit.

Rocky Ford Fire Department VS Abandoned House Fire at 4th & Maple

LIVESTREAM Coverage:

The Rocky Ford Fire Department responded to an abandoned house fire at 4th and Maple on January 2, 2022 at 6:30 pm.

They had mutual aide from the La Junta and Manzanola Fire Departments.

A Sheriff's Deputy can be seen delivering a case of bottled water.

Otero County Sheriff's Office and Rocky Ford Police Department were also on scene to assist.

Emergency Medical personnel were standing by as well.

Tension on scene is relieved when Fire Fighters exit the burning structure after making sure it is clear of occupants.

No injuries were reported due to the incident and the cause of the fire is unknown, according to the Rocky Ford Fire Department.
