Cheryl Richert of Rocky Ford passed away at her home on August 18, 2022 at the age of 64. Cheryl was born in Rocky Ford to John and Marjorie Richert.
Cheryl was a kind person with a good heart, who loved and cared for animals all of her life. She was known as the "pet lady". She held no malice toward anyone. Every single holiday she decorated her yard. People will remember her dedication to brightening the holidays with figures in the yard and lighted ornaments. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Cheryl is survived by her three sisters: Candy Kreps, Tucson AZ; Cindy Miltenberger, Pueblo, Colorado and Chris Richert, Phoenix, AZ. She also had many cousins. No services will be held.
